Last month Socialbees reached 2,000 fans on Facebook! Now we want to set our sights even higher and share the love with a deserving non-profit! Here’s the plan: when we reach 3,000 fans we will donate our $1,000 Socialbees booster package (fan page and Facebook for business training) to a non-profit of your choice! We love supporting non-profits in their Facebook efforts because it’s a high-value gift that keeps on giving! Here’s what we need from you to help us reach our goal:

  1. Help us pick the most deserving NPO by posting a link to your favorite(s) on our wall. In the end (when we reach 3,000 fans), we will contact the top requested organizations and offer our package to the one that is ready to enhance their Facebook presence! (NOTE: When posting links, be sure to include “I nominate ____________ for a Socialbees Facebook makeover” so we know your link is for this project.)
  2. Invite your friends to become fans of our page to help us reach our 3,000 fan goal as quickly as possible. There are two easy ways to invite your friends:
  • Click the “share” button at the bottom left of the page and either, a. share it on your profile with a call to your friends to become fans, or b. share it privately with up to 20 friends at a time.
  • Use the “suggest to friends” link below our main “SB” icon on our wall and suggest it to as many friends as you wish.

By inviting friends you are providing valuable support to Socialbees (and we’ll love you for it!) and you are giving a wonderful gift to a deserving non-profit. So, if there are any causes you support, or care about, but haven’t been able to support, inviting your friends to our page is an easy way for you give without making a monetary donation.

We can’t wait to reach our goal and donate a booster package to a non-profit…. Let’s get rocking!

I founded Socialbees in November 2008 as a way of bringing big business quality Facebook Fan Pages, social ads and advanced Facebook strategy to small businesses. I love working at Socialbees because it gives me the opportunity to work with amazing small businesses, which has always been one of my passions. I am from a family of entrepreneurs, who have always made a point of finding their own beat and from K-12 I was home schooled, yet (unbelievably!) I am actually very social and have been connecting people on Social Networks since 2003… who would have thought?

I’ve been working with Socialbees for about 6 months now and Facebook for over 4 years, times flies when you’re having fun! ;) I love working with our small business clients because they are actively interested in learning new things, like how to use Facebook for their businesses. Our small business clients call the shots, make decisions and move fast. The pace keeps us on our toes, but also makes our work so much more fun!

Socialbees has also opened me up to so many cool new business that I wouldn’t normally have been exposed to! I love building relationships with each and every one of our clients both on a business level, but also on a personal level… I have to admit, I’ve become a new customer to many of our clients!

Howdy. I am the Creative Director at Socialbees and have just about ten years of experience working as a web developer and graphic designer. I absolutely love working with Socialbees and the small business clients we serve. Small business owners almost always tend to be more passionate about what they do than large corporations, and it is a blast helping them figure out how to put their best foot forward on Facebook. I’m married with children–two awesome little boys. We like hanging out with friends and family, playing games, being outdoors–especially if there is a body of water nearby–and just chilling with a good movie and some popcorn.

As an entrepreneur myself, I’ve seen the power of social media in action. I’m excited to bring quality Fan Pages to small business near and far as Socialbees’ Client Development Manager! I love the passion entrepreneurs have for their companies and our ability to help them spread their message. Me? I’m a Montana girl who graduated from the Hotel School at Cornell and promptly headed for Seattle. I dig authenticity, live music, fabulous food, world travel and the mountains.

Hi. I’m a Fan Page Developer for Socialbees. As long as my family has had a computer, I’ve been developing websites. My first job came when I was 16 when I was hired as a web developer trainee for a prestigious marketing group. Within two years, I was their lead developer. I’ve always enjoyed working in a field where I get to solve new and complex problems every day. There’s always a fresh challenge behind each new project ready to be tackled. When I’m not coding, I’m probably on my bike or out for some thrills with The American Coaster Enthusiasts.

Hi, I’m a Senior at Oklahoma Wesleyan University studying Communication Arts and a part-time Fan Page Developer at Socialbees. I’ve spent a good chunk of my life browsing the internet, but only began web design when I took a class on it two years ago. I hated it at first, but once it “clicked,” I couldn’t get enough. I love designing a site, bringing together a solid interface and layout, and then writing the code to make it come alive. When I’m not working on projects I can still be found in front of my computer, either playing video games or tinkering around with the computer.
